See a black cat on the pitch at Anfield prior to kick-off in the goalless draw between Liverpool and Manchester United yesterday evening.

Apparently picked up by the away team’s cameras, the curious feline was spotted lightly pacing along the turf in front of one of the goals.

The video provided one of few highlights from Monday night’s boring football and the bright-eyed animal quickly became a star.
