Zenit Saint Petersburg centre-forward Anton Zabolotny collided with a mannequin posing as an opposition defender during a recent training session.
Attempting to latch on to a long pass from a team-mate, Zabolotny spins away towards the penalty area while keeping his eye on the ball.
His attentiveness proves to be his undoing as he runs straight into the dummy, sending him crashing to the turf and prompting sustained bursts of laughter from those present.
Big mystery of Zenit and @TeamRussia is presence of wooden unqualified forward Anton Zabolotny who scored 1 goal in 2 years and falling even from mannequins on the pitch sending his team mates to hysterical laughter https://t.co/BTkWD947oh

27-year-old Zabolotny has nine caps for Russia, scoring once, but his prolific club form at FC Tosno has not carried over to life at Zenit.
He has only scored one goal in 21 Russian Premier League games since joining them midway through last season, although he’s managed four in all competitions.
