One Schalke fan showed remarkable balance and poise as he carried a beer on his head before his team’s 2-3 Champions League defeat to Man City on Wednesday.

The man glides through the stand at the Arena AufSchalke without spilling a drop, smiling assuredly as he shows off his party trick.

He even stops to pose for a photograph, giving the camera a cheerful thumbs-up for good measure.

And things looked rosy at half-time for Bundesliga side Schalke, with two Nabil Bentaleb penalties overturning Sergio Agüero’s opener.

So…this is something. Schalke fans behind me laughing. No one expected this, even if it only is half time. pic.twitter.com/wgXUzDzQY4

City were then reduced to ten men when Nicolás Otamendi was sent off on 68 minutes, but they staged a stunning fightback with late strikes from Leroy Sané and Raheem Sterling.

The second leg of the round of 16 tie will take place at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday March 12th.
