A WhatsApp voice message has been shared in which someone claims that the UK government are “working on making a massive lasagne” in Wembley Stadium in order to supply food to households during the COVID-19 crisis.

In it, the man says he’s heard the information from his sister’s boyfriend’s brother who supposedly works for the Ministry of Defence.

He goes on to assert that they’re currently “building the massive lasagne sheets” for “making a lasagne the size of Wembley Stadium”:

The underground heating at Wembley, that’s gonna like bake the lasagne and then they’re gonna put the roof across so it’s going to like recreate the oven.

"I'm looking forward to that because I do quite like Lasagna as well" 😭😭 cryin

The department are said, in the WhatsApp voice note, to be worried about people being “stuck indoors without any food” while the country are in lockdown due to the spread of the new coronavirus.

Apparently drones will be employed to “deliver little portions” to homes across the British Isles, “which is obviously quite sensible”.
