Watch as Watford player Juan Carlos Paredes throws the ball in Daley Blind’s face from point-blank range during their 1-2 defeat to Manchester United on Saturday.

Presumably intending to reach a different target, the Ecuadorian international who came on as a second-half substitute only succeeded in lashing the ball at Blind’s head directly from the throw-in.

A foul throw was awarded as the dazed United man got back to his feet.
