VIDEO: Thurrock defender scores wind-assisted own goal from near halfway line

Clearance flies back far over Kamarl Duncan's head, bounces over the goalkeeper and into the net.

Thurrock defender Kamarl Duncan scored a severely wind-assisted own goal in their Isthmian League Division One North clash with Romford at Ship Lane on Tuesday, a match that appears to have gone ahead in stormy conditions.

Duncan attempts to clear the ball from his position not far from the halfway line, but the ball flies back far over his head, bounces over goalkeeper Rhys Madden and into the waiting net.

Always knew I'd be a famous goalkeeper
