Sassuolo’s Francesco Caputo tripped over the advertising boards surrounding the pitch after scoring against SPAL in a Serie A match.

League strugglers SPAL were defeated 3-0 by hosts Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium on Sunday.

Striker Francesco Caputo netted twice in the win and attempted the jump the electronic advertising boards following his second.

However, the player caught his boot on the top of one of the devices and was sent tumbling out of sight as the television cameras documented his fall.
