As Germany began to ease lockdown restrictions, customers flocked to Lukas Podolski’s kebab shop in Cologne and a reporter was there to cover the queue.
Outside one of the former Germany international’s many consumer-facing businesses, Bundesliga journalist Archie Rhind-Tutt provided coverage of the public wanting a takeaway.

Podolski, now at Turkish side Antalyaspor, is said to operate six Mangal Doner outlets, including four in his home city of Cologne.
The reopening amongst a street of closed shops comes just as a nearby mural of the star was defaced, with someone adding lengthy nose hair to the giant portrait.
