Watch the PSG fans throw a ball around the crowd instead of returning it to the field of play during a match against RC Lens on Saturday.
An impressive display of teamwork, ball throwing, punching and kicking was exhibited by the supporters as they made their own entertainment during the French champions’ 4-1 win at Parc des Princes.
Traditionally these incidents end prematurely with one responsible team member walking over to the stands and pleading for the ball to be returned.
But play in this Ligue 1 clash was eventually forced to continue with a new ball after the Parisian fans refused to give it back to the players and kept the ball for themselves, cheering as it travelled from fan to fan and even between tiers.
Presumably far more interesting than the one-sided football, all the fun was captured on camera by the comprehensive TV coverage on Canal+ Sport that went on for several minutes as supporters of all ages participated in the game.
