Demirspor defender Anıl Karaer fiercely kicked the ball at a ball boy he perceived as time wasting in the final minutes of a game at Keçiörengücü.

Ankara Keçiörengücü beat Adana Demirspor 1-0 on Sunday in the TFF 1. Lig, the second tier of Turkish football, after the visitors missed a late penalty.

With his side still trailing in added time at the end of the second half, a frustrated Karaer was eager to get the match going again with a throw in.

However, after deciding that one of the ball boys had taken too long to give the ball back to him, he smashed it right back in the opposite direction.

The raging 32-year-old had to be restrained by a teammate as he continued to shout while leaving the pitch after being shown a red card in the 96th minute.

The result leaves second-placed Keçiörengücü three points clear of Demirspor, though the latter still have a game in hand.
