A Portsmouth supporter played his guitar while the music on the TV continued through the early stages of the second-half in their FA Cup tie against King’s Lynn Town.

League One promotion hopefuls Portsmouth beat National League side King’s Lynn Town 5-1 at Fratton Park in the second round of the FA Cup on Saturday.

@BBCSport please forget to turn the half time music off on every FA cup tie, jazz funk whilst watching us look for another goal πŸ˜‚ #pompey pic.twitter.com/34L5vILBTu

A technical error by the BBC, on which the game was being shown live, led to the music being played at half-time still broadcast to viewers after the second-half had kicked off.

Many commented on the sound issue via social media, while one Portsmouth fan took it upon himself to whip his guitar out and provide an accompaniment.

Love the new spiced up @BBCSport commentary πŸ•ΊπŸ˜‚ #FACup @EmiratesFACup @SoccerAM pic.twitter.com/zCfBeq0FY0
