A Hibernian fan managed to get onto the pitch and attempted to take the ball from Rangers’ James Tavernier before becoming involved in a physical confrontation with the player.
The ball had gone out for a throw in the televised Scottish Premiership clash under the lights at Easter Road on Friday night when the bloke saw an opportunity to jump over the barrier and get to the ball.

The pitch invader reached Tavernier before he had a chance to gather it but the player didn’t let the man get away with the ball.
The pair exchanged words before the interloper was dragged away by police.
