Manchester City U18 players stood by and let their United counterparts score following an unsportsmanlike goal in Saturday’s derby at the Aon Training Complex.
After United had sportingly put the ball out of play, City returned it to one of their defenders – but Tai Sodje clearly hadn’t got the memo.

He stole in and retrieved the ball, scoring one of his two goals on the day for the blue side.
To make amends, Man City players stood aside and let Charlie McNeill score straight from the resulting kick-off.
McNeill, formerly a prolific goal-scorer at youth level for City, scored a hat-trick on this occasion as Man Utd won the match 3-2.
