Alanyaspor and Sivasspor played as best as they could on a waterlogged pitch until the game was eventually postponed midway through the first half.

The Turkish Süper Lig match at the Bahçeşehir School Arena was halted amidst farcical scenes of the ball getting stuck on the drenched turf.

Despite the conditions, home side Alanyaspor managed to take a 1-0 lead prior to the referee calling a halt to proceedings.

The fixture was then moved to the following day as Alanyaspor ran out 3-1 winners.
