Celebratory sticks of Brighton rock were handed out to the Manchester City players after a win in the city secured them the Premier League title on the final day of the season.
Pep Guardiola’s side clinched top spot ahead of Liverpool by a single point with 4-1 scoreline despite an early scare after going behind early on.
As the party continued in the changing rooms at the Amex Stadium following the final whistle, commemorative sticks of the traditional British seaside confectionery were presented to the team.
Cue several confused looks from some of the foreign members of the squad, who appeared not to have encountered such a sweet before.
