Liverpool’s Andrew Robertson and Jordan Henderson ended up in an unexpected embrace when Mohamed Salah ducked while celebrating his goal at Southampton.
The team-mates were propelled into each other’s arms in the celebrations that ensued when Salah put the Reds 2-1 up at St Mary’s Stadium on Friday night.

Having ended a goal drought of eight matches in all competitions with his 80th minute strike, Salah whipped off his shirt – a move that earned him a yellow card.
Left-back Robertson came running up to leap on his back, only for the Egyptian to duck at the crucial moment.

The Scotsman wound up accidentally hugging Henderson, who himself scored shortly afterwards to earn a crucial 3-1 win that puts Liverpool back on top of the Premier League.
Shane Long had put Saints ahead early on, with Naby Keïta equalising before half-time.
As well as proving to be a decisive moment in the game, Salah’s goal saw him become the quickest player to reach 50 Premier League goals for Liverpool.
