One Liverpool fan held his phone the wrong way round while trying to take a selfie at Anfield for the Champions League semi-final against Barcelona.

His beloved Reds overturned a 3-0 deficit from the first leg to progress to the final of the competition for a second consecutive year.

Roared on by a vocal home support, they won 4-0 on Tuesday night without injured pair Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino to call upon.

During a passionate rendition of club anthem “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, one man decided to get a recording of himself bellowing along for posterity.

Alas, he held his phone back to front – or should that be front to back? – and ended up unwittingly presenting a mirror image of himself to the cameras.
