VIDEO: Liverpool fan arrested in Barcelona by undercover police officer dressed as Celtic supporter

Not entirely clear why.

An undercover police officer wearing a black Celtic training top arrested a Liverpool fan in Barcelona for Wednesday’s Champions League match.

Jürgen Klopp’s Reds lost 3-0 in the semi-final first leg at the Nou Camp and sections of their travelling support have come in for criticism over their behaviour.

Videos surfaced of some fans pushing locals into a fountain at Placa Reial, just off the city’s famous La Rambla street, the evening before the game.

And there’s also this clip of one man being led away by plain-clothes police, one of whom is wearing the Celtic top. It is not clear why this was the case.

"We turn up en masse, get the bevvies in, have a great time" – pretty much the official policy for the Reds on a European away there pic.twitter.com/iAxVkBYdEf
