George Weah sat on a throne placed in the stands for him to watch Liberia’s visit to Congo on Thursday night.

The president of the West African country and former World Player of the Year was able to enjoy the game from the comfort of a golden chair placed in the one of the aisles at the Stade Alphonse Massemba-Débat in Brazzaville.

Liberia were defeated 3-1 in the Africa Cup of Nations Group G qualifier but that didn’t stop Weah enjoying Sam Johnson’s second-half equaliser.

Liberia equalize through a screamer from Sam Johnson and gets @GeorgeWeahOff off his throne!! Also love the man in the tuxedo. As the saying goes, dress for the job you want, not the job you have. #CGOLBR #AFCON2019Q #Bodyguard #LiberianJamesBond pic.twitter.com/v9x9EXk2FN
