A Charlie Mulgrew goal in the 80th minute secured 2nd place at least in League One for Tony Mowbray’s side, and they could yet beat Wigan to the title.

Blackburn supporters could not contain their excitement as they streamed onto the Keepmoat Stadium field – but they weren’t to be the only stream present as they wound up with a soaking.
