12-year-old Mishal Abulais filmed himself doing this spot-on impression of Lionel Messi taking and scoring a free kick for Argentina.

The youngster from Malappuram, a city in the Indian state of Kerala, shared this clip with his twenty-two thousand followers on Instagram.

First he places the ball down and checks the turf around it with his foot, then stands looking towards goal with his hands on his hips.

He fiddles with his hair, spits, then steps up and curls it through a hoop in the top corner before going to his knees and pointing to the heavens in celebration.
