Aston Villa’s video montage for their Ladies player of the season Amy West contains remarkably little in the way of actual highlights.

In the clip, we see her in training, on a billboard, chasing an opponent and contesting a 50-50 challenge against Leicester City.

Whoever edited this video needs a swift sacking.

Nowhere to be seen are any goals, shots, dribbles, passes or anything you might associate with a traditional highlights package.

It’s not as if Aston Villa Ladies have had a particularly bad campaign – they’re currently 6th out of the 11 teams in the FA Women’s Super League 2.

@thumbhead3 @MattyTurner92 remember when she hit that ball against the other girls leg. What a moment that was.

However, they did register this season’s heaviest home defeat in the division, losing 0-12 to table-toppers Manchester United at the Trevor Brown Memorial Ground.
