An Arsenal supporter appeared so demoralised by their defeat to Burnley that he put his facemask over his eyes in added time at the end of the second half.

Burnley won 1-0 at ten-man Arsenal on Sunday after a Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang own goal in the 73rd minute proved to be the winnner.

The loss leaves Mikel Arteta’s side 15th in the table with just thirteen points gained from a possible thirty-six after twelve games played.

A limited number of home fans were allowed into the Emirates to watch the game but one seemed like he wished he hadn’t – caught on camera placing his mask over his eyes as the match trundled towards the final whistle.
