Crystal Palace’s Christian Benteke and Tottenham’s Son Heung-min got caught up in a personal dual and forgot to take a knee ahead kick off in a game between the two sides, before they both realised and stopped to do so.
Top-of-the-table Spurs drew 1-1 at Crystal Palace’s Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon.

Premier League teams are continuing to show their support for the anti-racism movement by taking a knee before the start of each match and this one was no different.
However an over-eager Christian Benteke immediately started running into the opposition half on the sound of the whistle while Son Heung-min tried to get ahold of him.

They both soon realised their mistake and awkwardly bent down where they were standing.
In the clip of the incident, that was widely shared on social media, you can also see Benteke’s Palace teammate Wilfried Zaha look around curiously at the pair.
