Chapecoense won the Brasileirão Série B title with a 98th minute Panenka penalty from Anselmo Ramon against Confiança at the Arena Condá on Saturday.
They went into the game 2nd behind América-MG and led 2-1 deep into stoppage time, a result that would have seen them finish level on points and goal difference.

Having scored fewer over the course of the season, however, it left them destined to be runners-up – until this late spot kick, dispatched in outrageous style.
It comes just over three years since they lost multiple first team players, staff members and directors in a plane crash in Colombia.
