A media furore has erupted after the defender was caught on camera taking ‘hippy crack’.
A picture of the England international, holding a black balloon of nitrous oxide to his lips, was plastered all over the Sunday papers this weekend and Walker has now apologised for the incident via Twitter.
After fully understanding the health implications of what he had done, Walker declared that he had acted in “poor judgement” and that he “won’t be doing this again”.
