Luton Town fans celebrate Norwich win, anticipate Millwall in 5th round

Luton Town
Kenilworth Road… Faithful

Luton Town won 1-0 at Norwich City in the FA Cup to become the first Conference side to win at the ground of a Premier League team since, you know, whoever did it last – and their reward is an historically loaded tie with Millwall in the 5th round.

Football Burp visited Hatters forum Luton Outlaws to see what the Kenilworth Road faithful had to say about their team’s remarkable triumph and the draw for the next round…

Before draw

Hatter in Ecstasy

Well done to Paul Buckle & the team.
We have not always hit the heights this season but this is something else.

WELL DONE!

Suffolk Punch

Inspired substitutions won it for us.

Wondered what the hell Buckle was doing pulling Gray and Shaw off fro Rendell & Fleets, but the introduction of fresh legs paid off. On ITV last night, the little ginger Strachan highlighted just how good a joint effort went into that goal. JJ ran 80 yards to get onto Fleetwood’s ball, and Rendell showed that he has a striker’s brain when he went left of the two defenders rather than take the direct route between them. A very cleverly worked goal.

Mr Patel

The big interest is certainly welcome, raising the profile of our club is a good thing.

Part of me still feels the burn, if you know what I mean.

‘Lowly’ , ‘minnows’ etc don’t figure in my vocabulary, the patronising twats!

win the next round and its worth £180,000 in prize money.

Manure away worth a million win, lose or draw

If we get behind our team and give them our full support we will get out of this league. For years now as a collective we have moaned about managers and players but in all honesty can we all say we have done the right thing as supporters on match day. Even last years final we let them down, sure we showed our faces but did we act as the twelth man. The fans were brilliant yesterday and if we done it every week the players would only benefit. come on lads lets do our bit, we have to do it for the club

selfish shellfish

I think that players and supporters motivated for a big cup tie is different to playing a blue square match against Woking.Just human nature look at the Norwich fans yesterday if they had been playing Man its they would have been well up every club is the same it’s the people who berate individual players that are the real negative aspect.
