There was disbelief among Arsenal fans as news filtered through that the Gunners had slumped to a shock Bank Holiday defeat to Toy Story.

Alan, an Arsenal fan from Islington, described his horror at switching away from Liverpool 4-0 Arsenal and onto something even more mortifying.

He told Football Burp: “I’d had my fill of our annual capitulation at Anfield so I decided to see what else was on.

“I saw Toy Story 2 listed and thought, yes, that would be a nice sort of pick-me-up.

“But it wasn’t until I switched on that I noticed the title ended with ‘…Arsenal nil’.

“Far from being a lighthearted romp that all the family can enjoy, it was Woody, Buzz and co. skinning our full-backs and creating havoc in and around the six yard box.

“At least Liverpool have some top players. Losing 2-0 at Toy Story just takes the cake.

“It’s a French cake, and it needs to go.”

Jubilant duo Woody and Buzz were unavailable for comment at the time of writing.
