Birds have agreed a wing sponsorship deal with Angry Everton Fans, the airborne creatures have confirmed.

Ronald Koeman’s Toffees were last night held to a frustrating draw by ten-man Apollon Limassol in the Europa League, leaving their supporters beetroot-faced with apoplexy.

Despite their ire, they were quick to form a committee of bird whisperers in order to thrash out a lucrative agreement with birds.

One bird tweeted: “We’re delighted, of course.

“This is our first ever wing sponsorship deal so this opens up a whole new market, and the red-faced Bluenose logo looks rather snappy.

“Join us next week as we announce a beak deal with Adrian Mutu.”
