Tottenham’s Harry Kane can become the club’s greatest striker since himself in a former life, says Glenn Hoddle.
The former Spurs and England player and manager was speaking to Football Burp after another gruelling session at a psychiatric clinic.
He opined: “The boy Kane’s been absolutely tremendous, to be fair.
“I reckon he’s been playing in a former life. He’s too good not to have been. Go on, search the records.
“I played in a former life. It wasn’t for Spurs of course ’cause they didn’t exist, to be fair, it was for this team of monks that was like the Spurs of its interdenominational mini league.
“Would I like to be England manager again? I’m not ruling it out, to be fair.”
