Here is a selection of the best LVG sacked jokes as Man Utd look set to replace their manager with José Mourinho just hours after winning the FA Cup.
United came from behind to beat Crystal Palace 2-1 after extra time at Wembley, Jesse Lingard grabbing an 121st minute winner – but the success looks to be too little too late for Louis van Gaal.
Former Chelsea boss Mourinho has been linked with the Old Trafford hot seat for months now, and it now looks as if he will indeed renew his hostilities with Pep Guardiola in Manchester next season.
Asked about his future yesterday, van Gaal replied merely with the ominous albeit open to interpretation “it’s over”.
Spare a thought for the outgoing Dutchman, whose off-the-pitch antics have so often entertained us these last two seasons – but nevertheless enjoy these LVG sacked jokes:

Spare a thought for Louis van Gaal this morning, as he wakes up hungover, with the FA Cup on his head, and his P45 in his back pocket.

SAF called Mourinho "one of the greatest managers of all time" but Mohammed from Afghanistan thinks he's a park the bus fraud

There's a slim possibility we're all reading too much into this and LVG's "It's Over" remark may just signify that he's a Roy Orbison fan.

Listen I know you all want to talk about LVG and Jose but I want to know where the FA cup lid is and no one is asking.

Mourinho's career span:
Season 1 – Buy the bus
Season 2 – Park the bus
Season 3 – Throw the players under the bus
Best of luck, @ManUtd
