The celebrations were on after League One Wigan’s stunning 1-0 win over Manchester City in an FA Cup fifth-round tie at the DW Stadium on Monday night.

The quadruple dream is over for the Premier League giants and the hosts’ progression in the competition at their expense was deemed worthy of a pitch invasion by the home crowd, following the final whistle.

Some of the Wigan fans got fairly close to the away end and appeared to enjoy winding the visiting supporters up, as is obvious in this clip of them on the pitch at the end of the game.
