And Uruguayan international Torreira was so fired up before kick-off that his motivational rallying cry affected his mascot’s eyelids.
So forceful were his claps that the noise caused the young girl’s eyes to open and close in rapid succession, a moment the cameras caught perfectly.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s hat-trick propelled Arsenal onto victory on the night, with strike partner Alexandre Lacazette scoring the other.
