Paul Chuckle saluted the crowd at Rotherham’s clash with Ipswich on Saturday as they paid tribute to lifelong fan Barry Chuckle, who passed away last week, with a chorus of ‘To me, to you’ – the pair’s famous catchphrase.

Comedy darlings the Chuckle Brothers have been lifelong fans of Rotherham United and were made honorary life presidents of the club.

Barry Chuckle, who lived in the South Yorkshire town up until his death, was honoured with the chant at the New York Stadium in the 73rd minute after a bit of prior planning from both sets of supporters:

Rotherham paying tribute to Barry Chuckle today – a huge fan and life president of club.

Talk that #RUFC and #itfc fans should shout 'to me, to you' backwards and forwards during the minute's applause and in 73rd min.

I would love this. Pretty sure Barry would to. pic.twitter.com/equHG0L7Wq
