It’s Tanzania, March 10th 2012 and the Tanzanian Premier League champions, Young Africans SC are playing Azam FC. Yanga (Young Africans) player Stephano Mwasika is worked up after team mate Haruna Niyonzima was sent off by referee Israel Mujuni for foul and abusive language

As the referee is hounded further and further down the pitch, Mwasika leaps in and appears to punch Mujuni in the head. The ice-cool ref takes it in his stride though and soon has the game under control.

According to reports, Mwasika has been banned for a year and fined. Watch a video of the incident below:
