Felt it was the best way to transmit his thoughts to the team with 8000 fans in the stadium.

Brøndby manager Niels Frederiksen held up a whiteboard on the sidelines of their game against league-leaders Midtjylland with a simple message written on it – “keep attacking”.

Brøndby beat ten-man Midtjylland 3-1 in Brøndbyvester on Sunday in a Danish Superliga championship playoff clash between the two top-ranking sides.

After overturning the visitors’ lead midway through the second half, the 50-year-old head coach used the seemingly primitive method to communicate his tactics to the players.

Frederiksen was seen standing in his technical area with the whiteboard on which he’d written “keep attacking” in large capital letters, to the amusement of the fourth official.
