A steward at the Stadio Olimpico joined celebrating England fans for a chorus of “it’s coming home” after Saturday’s 4-0 win against Ukraine at Euro 2020.

Gareth Southgate’s side set up a semi-final against Denmark at Wembley on Wednesday with the thumping victory, secured with a Harry Kane brace and goals apiece from Harry Maguire and Jordan Henderson.

Someone should tell this Italian steward that Italy is still in the Euros 😂 #EURO2020 https://t.co/YibgzxXiRq

After the match, a steward joined a group of English supporters on the walkway outside the stadium and sang the iconic refrain from Euro ’96 anthem “Three Lions”.

He even used his loudhailer for extra amplification, although he may have been being disingenuous if he was from Italy, who are also still in the tournament.
