Watch as Peterborough United’s Steven Taylor sweeps snow off the field so his team can finish their match at home to Walsall.

The former Newcastle United defender took a turn as a sweeper in order for the fixture to be completed – and it’s just as well he did, as Posh ran out 2-1 winners.

Peterborough are 8th in League 1, within touching distance of the playoff places, while Walsall are languishing in 17th.

Chris Mizen, the fan who originally posted the clip on social media, had this to say:

Only did it because I knew the fans would start the 1,2,3,4 chant and that is the type of attitude we need from our players at the moment
