Feyenoord winger Steven Berghuis hit the deck after Utrecht’s Willem Janssen patted him on the head during an Eredivisie match at the De Kuip stadium.
The apparently sporting gesture from Janssen was also a gentle one, but former Watford man Berghuis took the opportunity to feign a head injury.
Now managed by Giovanni van Bronckhorst, Feyenoord won 1-0 thanks to a late goal from another familiar name – 35-year-old Robin van Persie.
