The sprinkler system went off during Hibernian’s 4-2 win at Dundee in the Scottish Premiership at Dens Park on Friday night.
With 66 minutes of the match played, jets of water suddenly started spraying out of the turf on the edge of the penalty area that Dundee were attacking.

John O’Sullivan, a 25-year-old midfielder who recently joined on loan from Blackpool, was caught in the crossfires and received a bit of a dousing.
One supporter’s laughter can be heard prominently in the clip, although doubtless many more were amused by the incident.

The home fans could excuse themselves a moment of levity on a night that saw them soundly beaten.
They remain in danger of relegation from the SPL, lying 10th out of the 12 teams, above Hamilton on goal difference but having played a game more.
