Mexico fans in the nation’s capital staged an impromptu parade for a young South Korean after a dramatic conclusion to Group F at the World Cup in Russia.
South Korea’s 2-0 defeat of Germany ensured Mexico qualified for the last 16 despite their 0-3 loss to Sweden, as well as eliminating the holders.
A man enthuses to camera how only the World Cup could bring about such celebratory scenes, as the South Korean is feted as a hero in Mexico City.
