Son Heung-min massaged a Tottenham Hotspur mascot as they lined up before kick-off in Wednesday night’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Ajax.
Spurs won on away goals thanks to Lucas Moura’s stunning second-half hat-trick which brought them back from 2-0 down on the night and 3-0 on aggregate.
They will take on Liverpool in the final, extending Son’s season by an extra game – he is suspended for the Premier League final day fixture against Everton.
During the build-up for the monumental clash in Amsterdam, Son eased tensions by giving the mascot in front of him a shoulder rub.
As you can tell by the grin on his face as the camera goes past, the child in question enjoyed the moment.
It’s bound to feel even more special now that his star masseur was on the victorious side of a match that will go down in history.
