Sheffield Wednesday manager Steve Bruce had a somewhat delayed reaction to a ball flying past him during his side’s 1-0 defeat at Leeds United last Saturday.
Patrolling the touch line at Elland Road, Bruce smiles broadly with the Championship fixture still goalless during the first-half.

Suddenly the ball flies over his right shoulder, narrowly missing a collision with his head.

However, it’s not until a few seconds later that he actually flinches and looks back to see what it was.
He then turns around again and resumes grinning.
There was little to smile about in the second period of the game as Jack Harrison’s goal condemned his Owls to defeat in the Yorkshire derby.
They lie 11th in the table, seven points off the final playoffs place.
