Watch Robin van Persie sing “When a Woman’s Fed Up” by R. Kelly in the back of a car, for reasons not yet entirely clear.

The former Manchester United and Arsenal striker, now of Turkish side Fenerbahçe, laid his musical soul bare while being driven somewhere or other – and he appears to have posted the video himself.

RVP has started just 11 of Fener’s 21 Süper Lig matches this season and completed 90 minutes just twice, so perhaps his frustration at playing a bit-part role inspired his suddenly bursting into song.

However, this clip of van Persie singing R. Kelly’s “When a Woman’s Fed Up” is nothing if not testament to the fact that he did well to stick with football as a career.
