Hermit crab makes a home in immaculately painted display of support.

See a Manchester City crab, reportedly found in Yogyakarta on the island of Java in Indonesia, with the club’s crest immaculately displayed on the top of its shell.

The hermit crab was spotted by an Imgur user who uploaded a photo of the crustacean to the image sharing website on Wednesday.

According to Wikipedia, most species are said to have “long, spirally curved abdomens, which are soft” and use a “salvaged empty seashell” to protect themselves from predators.

A bright, pink/purple background gleams across this back of the shell this crab has found and somebody has used a stencil to paint the City crest in the appropriate colours in the centre.
