Rochdale midfielder Oliver Rathbone appeared to celebrate a late Gillingham strike that went against his team, before realising his mistake.
Rochdale drew 2-2 at Gillingham’s Priestfield Stadium after a 93rd minute equaliser from the hosts’ John Akinde in a League One clash between the two sides.

Following a long throw into the box, Rathbone ran off with his hands in the air as the ball crashed into the back of the net.
It didn’t take him long to come to his senses, falling to his knees as he began to understand that it was the opposition who had scored.
