Watch as a South African Premier Division referee sends off a ball boy, deep into added time at the end of the second half as Kaizer Chiefs hosted Cape Town City at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg on Tuesday night.

With the scores level at 1-1 in the 93rd minute, Cape Town launched a late attack, only to be thwarted by an over-eager youngster who thought the ball had rolled out of play.

Helping to operate a multi-ball system, the ball boy threw another ball onto the pitch causing play to be stopped and then restarted by the officals.

But not before referee Victor Gomes ejected the child from the game.
