Referee Néstor Pitana caught a coin he let slip during the toss before last Sunday’s Copa de la Superliga final between Tigre and Boca Juniors.
The Argentine official showed catlike reflexes as he nimbly responded to dropping the coin by swooping down and catching it before it hit the ground.
Plenty of tears being shed as relegated Tigre win their first ever top-flight trophy and qualify for the 2020 Copa Libertadores despite their Nacional B status next season. Unbelievable!

In the match itself, Néstor Gorosito’s Tigre won 2-0 at the Estadio Mario Alberto Kempes to earn their first-ever piece of top-flight silverware.
They were however relegated from the Primera División this season, finishing in the top half of the division but succumbing to the league’s ‘promedio’ system.
This averages out points on a three-year basis, so Tigre went down despite going on a strong run after Gorosito took over in February.
