A bundle of Prescot Cables fans managed to cause the collapse of the fence separating them from the pitch when they fell through it in the process of celebrating a goal against Southport in the Liverpool Senior Cup Final.

905 attended Volair Park to see the Evo-Stik Northern League Division One North side lift the trophy following a 2-0 win on Tuesday night.

And enamoured spectators were so pleased to see one of the goals go in that they all pushed forward together as one, with the weight of the group as a whole appearing to have caused the barrier in front of them to collapse.
