Supporters of Brasileiro Série B side Goiás were waiting jubilantly at the airport for their promotion-bound team when one of the police officers in charge of crowd control started jumping with them.

The squad returned from a 3-1 win at Oeste on Saturday, a result that leaves them in second place with one league game left to play.

With the top four teams promoted to Série A and two of them set to play each other, Goiás are almost guaranteed to go up.

The huge state is celebrating ahead of a final home match at the Estádio Serra Dourada next weekend.
